Let’s explore these options a bit more.

San Carlos Scuba Trips: A Gateway to the Sea of Cortez

San Carlos, Mexico, serves as a gateway to the enchanting Sea of Cortez, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, warm temperatures, and rich biodiversity. It’s a diver’s paradise where one can swim alongside sea lions, marvel at the hues of countless nudibranch species, and, of course, dive into the world of underwater wrecks.

The Sea of Cortez holds wonders for divers at all skill levels. San Carlos, in particular, is not just a destination but a starting point for many of our divers. It is often the chosen location for the open-water dives required in our scuba certification course. The reason is clear: once you dive San Carlos, the place calls you back, time and again.

Our trips to San Carlos are comprehensive, including 4-8 open water boat dives, depending on the trip’s duration, a group caravan from Tucson, lunch and snacks on the boat, and all necessary diving gear like tanks and weights.

Lake Pleasant Dive Trips: Local Wreck Exploration

Closer to home, Lake Pleasant offers a unique diving experience right in our backyard. This desert oasis is not only a site for refining diving skills but also home to an old dam and several small wrecks, making it an ideal spot for wreck diving enthusiasts looking to explore without venturing too far from Tucson.

These dives are perfect for those looking to practice their techniques or embark on a long technical dive, with plans tailored to the participant’s skills and interests. Best of all, diving trips to Lake Pleasant are complimentary for Scuba Club Tucson members, making it an easily accessible adventure.
