Scuba Club Tucson, along with its sister companies, Paragon Dive Adventures and Paragon Scuba Academy, offers scuba diving trips year-round.
From our monthly trips to the Sea of Cortez using San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico as our base, to more exotic trips to Indonesia, the Philippines, Truk Lagoon, Socorro, Playa del Carmen, and more, we strive to offer reasonably priced, dive-centric trips.
We make monthly trips to San Carlos, Mexico. This is a truly gorgeous destination for diving, with clear waters, warm temperatures, and an astounding diversity of marine life. You can dive with sea lions, see colorful nudibranchs, and much more. The Sea of Cortez has something for everyone, from beginners to experienced divers.
This is our most common destination for the required open-water dives in our scuba certification course. Once you experience San Carlos, you’ll want to keep coming back for more. Trips to San Carlos include 4-8 open water boat dives (depending on the length of the trip), a group caravan down, lunch and snacks on the boat, and tanks and weights. Members of Scuba Club Tucson enjoy a yearly exclusive San Carlos trip.
If you’re looking for something even closer to Tucson, Lake Pleasant is our local watering hole and is a great spot to work on developing your skills. This desert lake includes an old dam as well as multiple small wrecks. You can work on the basics or do one long technical dive. We adjust the plan for each trip depending on who signs up.
Lake Pleasant trips are free for Scuba Club Tucson members!
